Wonderful base for exploring Manchester. Magnificent and perfect location, 15 minutes walk from a municipal park. Nestled short walk to beautiful grounds, the centre and Heaton Park.

The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with everything we needed and more. The location was perfect for attending a concert at Heaton Park, as we were just steps away from the entrance. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure, which was a relief after a long day in the rain. The apartment itself was well-equipped and spacious, with all the amenities we needed. We felt safe and secure with the ability to lock the gate and the door. The continental breakfast provided was a nice touch. we had a brilliant weekend and would definitely recommend the Old Vicarage Lodge to anyone visiting the area.

The apartment at The Old Vicarage Lodge was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The bedroom and bathroom were both clean and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space to unwind after a long day exploring Manchester. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed, including a toaster and kitchenware, making it easy to prepare meals. The satellite flat-screen TV was a bonus, allowing me to catch up on my favorite shows during downtime.

Personally, I found the toaster in the apartment to be a bit outdated. However, I understand that others might still find it perfectly functional and use it without any issues.

We had an exceptional stay at the Old Vicarage Lodge. The location was perfect for us as we were attending a dinosaur day in Heaton Park with our 2-year-old. Despite the rain, we had an easy walk to the park and back. The lodge felt like a home away from home, providing everything we needed and more. Our little one especially loved watching the birds and squirrels in the garden during the rainstorms. The value for money was outstanding, and we appreciated the continental breakfast option. The proximity to the tram station made it convenient to explore Manchester city center. We will definitely consider staying here again for future adventures.

The continental breakfast option was a nice bonus, making mornings more convenient.

There were some cleanliness issues that detracted from the overall experience. Upon arrival, we discovered half plates and cups left in the dishwasher that had not been cleaned.

The value for money at Old Vicarage Lodge was fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was great, within walking distance to the tram that takes you to the city center. The staff was welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast menu could benefit from offering single portions of jams and spreads, as there were some leftover crumbs on them which were off-putting.

The lodge has a great location, close to Heaton Park and the entrance for events. It offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The beds are comfortable and the showers have good pressure. The rooms are well equipped with storage space for clothes and a compact kitchen for making meals. The owners are welcoming and provide toiletries, fresh milk, and orange juice upon arrival. There is also a continental breakfast for guests to make. the lodge offers good value for money and is a convenient place to stay for events in the area.

There was no floor mat in the bathroom to stand on after taking a shower.

The TV in the bedroom was not working during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. it would have been helpful to be informed beforehand that the lodge is located at the end of a family home/garden.

The terrace was a nice touch, though I barely used it. And the proximity to the airport was helpful, I guess.

Who needs a fully equipped kitchen when you're on vacation? And a continental breakfast?
